Book Boyfriends are mental-sweets!

Welcome to the Sweet-Heat Trick or Treat Tour!

A fantastic group of bloggers and authors are teamed up to celebrate Halloween with their readers in the Sweet-Heat Trick or Treat Tour running October 11th through 31st, 2012.

Every day for the next 21 days, you’ll need to go the Road to Hell series blog and see whom the blogger of the day is. You'll have to visit those bloggers to receive your “treat”, which is a word, along with their “special” blog for that day. Each blogger has the option to hold a separate contest apart from the BIG giveaway, so be sure to check out each blogger each day!!

The word in the photo is your “treat”! (You can find it at the end of this post) Make sure you keep it in a safe place. “Visit” the Road to Hell series (http://madisonroadtohell.blogspot.com) tomorrow, and each day thereafter, to find the next “treat”! The Sweet Heat Trick or Treat Blog Tour ends October 31st and on Halloween you’ll return to the Road to Hell series blog and receive your final word. Here’s the “trick”—you’ll have to arrange all the words you’ve received each day into a sentence and then provide the sentence in the rafflecopter provided. New entries will be added to the rafflecopter each day so be sure to check back at the Road to Hell series every day to increase your chances of winning!

BUT! Before I give you the real "treat", let me tell you how I celebrate the Halloween.

We don't really celebrate Halloween in Hungary - damn!

I'm sorry I can't share my experiences with you in connection with Halloween, but instead of that I decided to show you how I will kill the time while my friends are away causing people's heartattack...
So, I'm gonna celebrate Halloween in....

A GAME!!

Yes, you probably saying that NO WAY anyone can be such a geek. Trust me, there are a few thousands of us from every corner of the world. And we are all coming together in Tyria to play along, have an incredible fun in the best MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game) on the market, called Guild Wars 2

Okay, okay, but what the scratched pumpkin is Guild Wars 2 ???

For generations, war and chaos raged across the land of Tyria. Five great races competed and warred against each other, struggling to tip the balance of power in their favor. Then the dragons woke. The all-powerful beasts stirred from their millennial sleep under earth and sea. With their magical breath the dragons spread destruction and created legions of twisted slaves.

A deathless dragon named Zhaitan raised the sunken nation of Orr, triggering earthquakes and tidal waves that destroyed entire cities across the Sea of Sorrows. Zhaitan's undead armies surged from the sea, hungry for the destruction of the five races of Tyria: the charr, a ferocious race of feline warriors; the asura, magical inventors of small size and great intellect; the norn, towering shapeshifters from the frigid northern lands; the sylvari, a mysterious young race of visionary plant folk; and the humans, an embattled but resilient people.

Now heroes from the five races must set aside ancient rivalries and stand together against their common enemies.

Now let's see, what exactly we're - the new heroes of Tyria -, going to do on Halloween's night...

Shadow of the Mad King

Release Overview

500 years ago, a tyrannical Krytan king was slain by his own people, those who had suffered greatly during his reign of lunacy. It is said that this king’s body was chopped into pieces, and his spirit was banished to the Underworld, but that he can return to the mortal realm for just one day a year: on Halloween.

Of course, that’s just an old folktale. Isn’t it?

It’s been 250 years since the last alleged sighting of Mad King Thorn’s spirit, and today, Halloween is safely celebrated by children (and merchants) all across Tyria.

But! Strange energies are rising under the autumn moon. Is there perhaps some truth to the old stories? Do you dare to find out what’s really going on?

Shadow of the Mad King is the first major game release for Guild Wars 2 and will go live on October 22. This new game update will include a number of new features for all of our players to enjoy, new content to explore and see, and a week-long Halloween event.

Halloween in Tyria has taken a dark turn. The old stories have been proven true: Mad King Thorn is very real, and his insanity threatens to corrupt all of Tyria. Brand-new Halloween activities, maps, puzzles, events, and surprises await the brave adventurer.

Soo... Unfortunately my computer would blow up if I tried to record videos, but I know a few crazy people who are always make fun videos.

My favorite things in this game are the jumping puzzles.

Jumping puzzles are open-world mini-dungeons that require the player to find the right jumping route to a hidden chest. They are sometimes guarded by veteran enemies. They currently reward a Jumping Puzzle achievement for completing each individual jumping puzzle, usually combined with a Grand, Magnificent or Splendid Chest. Some puzzles have multiple chests and false endings.

And they're also the part of the game that can drive me nuts!! I'm HORRIBLE at jumping puzzles. They took me hours (and hair) to complete sometimes. But they're still fun!

So, one of the new stuff in this GW2 Halloween event is a new jumping puzzle, called Mad King’s Clock Tower – Only the Mad King himself could imagine up such a devious jumping puzzle. You’ll need nerves of steel and steady feet to claim the treasure at the top of the Mad King’s tower.

I always fell off the little, slim parts of the puzzles, but manage to jump a long distance *shakes head*. Looks like I'm better in the more difficult puzzles, than in the originally easier ones.

The final and the biggest event is related to the Mad King himself.

This group dungeon is Act 3 of the Halloween Event. Ascent to Madness -- The beautiful lion statue in Lion's Arch has shattered, and in its place, there is now a portal to the Mad King's realm. Steel yourself if you decide to enter this nightmarish world of madness and mirth where heroes battle to keep the Mad King locked away and harmless.

Besides these, there are fun little Halloween things aroung the world, such as Carving Pumpkins. Interacting with them will change them into a jack-o-lantern. Or There is a huge cauldron in the middle of town to which jumping in grants you a random costume to use in costume brawling.

Haunted doors have also started popping up around the land. These mysterious creations are interactive objects that can reward players with goodies or punish them depending on your luck. When a player interacts with one the door will open, revealing either an enemy, dynamic event or a Trick-or-Treat Bag. They can be used multiple times before they disappear and killing the ghoulish foes will also net you an achievement.

The Mad King is really maaaad. He tells jokes, they're usually TERRIBLE!

The Mad King begins with a small introduction before telling a random joke.

"What this celebration needs is a bit of humor. Unfortunately, the court jester couldn't make it tonight. Luckily for you, in addition to being wise and generous, I am very, very witty. Listen up!"

Okay, I give you a Mad King joke to get a better picture...

"I know you mortals are always interested in the future so I will give you a little preview. Two hundred years from now...YOU ARE ALL DEAD! MWAHAHAHAHAHAHA"

See?? I told you. They're HORRIBLE!!

After each of these jokes, any player that fails to laugh is killed, and the king states that:

"One way or another, my jokes always slay the audience.(if someone doesn't /laugh)
"Although I know the joke was rewarding in itself, here is a little something for those who laughed." (if someone /laughs)

For all of you sad sops who don't know the rules, hear me now! You must do only what your Mad King says, and nothing else! Consider it a lesson in obedience.

"Sadly, it is time for me to go.
Do not weep, for it has been a glorious night!
Look for my heralds, mark the signs that foretell my coming, for I will return!
Farewell, my loyal subjects! Here is a final gift for each of you!"

Anyway, I’m sure you’ve all skipped this to hit the point of this post, and I hope you’ll leave a comment with your thoughts about the Shadow of the Mad King or you can tell me how will you celebrate Halloween! Don’t be shy!

So, here is your "treat"....
